    Bank Vole

There are often bank voles to be seen under the feeders at Blashford but often either they dont come right into the open for a clear shot or if they do they move like greased lightning

After many failed attempts, manafed this one yesterday

Lovely, I have the same problem, they move like greased lightning. I have some online but they are not as good as this one.

                  Re: Bank Vole

Well caught - they can be quite quick! If you want to photograph them maybe have a word with John Stanton at Millers Wood - he has plenty of them around the bird hides and feeders. He will also collect up a few if you want to specifically want to photograph them and put them on natural settings to be photographed before being released again.

                    thanks Miles

Something to think about - probably the only way, like with the harvest mice to get a perfect shot
