Took this a short while ago out the dinning room window, while waiting for paint to dry, earning Brownie points today!
Thought I would play around with it, convert to B&W - personally don't like it - the B&W but posted it anyway.

Not keen on mono conversions for wildlife unless the subject is more or less black / white in the first place, so the colour version is the pick

Maybe there is not enough natural contrast.....in may work with the greens luminance reduced and reds increased? And thus dark trees and grass and a light deer

Agree with your comments - never liked it myself, it was more or less a mess around while killing time.
