Shedding Velvet

I came across this Roe deer in a small clearing in the woods. It was about 10 meters away, I slowly lowered myself in a sitting position then took some images.
It lay there for a couple minutes whilst I just sat and watched it. Then it stood up and walked into the wood.
It was a lovely experience being so close and studying the animal.

Quite envious of this Gary , nice angle , nice light , and a clean image , Even if I was aloud out , I don`t get Roe locally .

Nicely captured Gary, not easy creatures when in the woodland. I'm glad to see a bit of rain down here its makes getting closer to them that much easier. BTW, all our are now 'clean' down here
