    Pine Martin.

Looked out our lounge window at 7.30 tonight to be greeted by this in my squirrel feeding box, sorry the quality is not great, but taken through the double glazing in the pouring rain. A first for our garden.

Trev was correct, it came back at midday today and I was able to sneak back into the house get my camera, get outside and every time it put it's head in the box I inched forward until I got this shot.. Then it was off.

Brilliant David - Field Craft it pays off every time plus know your subject. Thing is now to observe it for a day or so, see which way it approaches the feeder, then get a nice lichen covered branch and situated somewhere on its route in -- Nice natural picture of a Pine Martin running along the branch.

As Trev says spending time to see how it approaches might help to get natural looking images. Would be delighted to photograph never mind get in the garden.
