Common Lizard

Common Lizard, or perhaps not so common lizard. Sadly the common lizard has declined greatly over the past two decades, where 20 years ago when I walked the heathland they were everywhere especially early mornings basking in the early morning sun, This one is the first I've seen for some weeks, my total sightings this year I can count on both hands.
