    Red Squirrel three ways

I had a trip North in to County Durham last week, to try for some red Squirrel images.

It was bitterly cold day but with some sunshine, though the wind chill made me realise that I should have had gloves with me !

As always your thoughts and comments welcome.

#1 This one was searching for food and didn't seem too bothered about me being there.

#2 I wondered where this one had gone to having seen it foraging around the ground. Then I spotted it directly above me.

#3 Feeding again, having been excavating for food.

The lighting in the first one is simply divine - superb photography and a wall-hanger if ever there was one...

The other two are great shots but are really up against it when compared to the first...
