With all the great wildlife pictures being posted here I have been itching to get out and capture some myself. Recently spent some time over in the east and drove up Strathconon hoping for some Red Deer. It was a bit of a murky day and with the odd torrential downpour it didn't promise much by way of enough light to avoid noise on the 7D2. Spotted a few stags and put the 100-400 F4.5-5.6L on and the light got a bit brighter, hooray.
This one at 1/1000 sec F5.6 ISO 1000 only processing done in Lightroom was lens profile, a small amount of clarity and a bit of sharpening and crop to about 40%

This one at 1/800 sec at F10 ISO 4000 processing as above plus a bit of noise reduction.
