    Fox

Fox (Vixen) in the field tonight giving me the evil eye - we've just cut the field she's out there looking for voles.

Looks in good condition Trev, you must feed it to well on your land, well seen and great shot. Any whisper of a fox up here and the keeper has shot it by the next day and rides around with displayed on his Land Rover for a couple of days.

David, I don’t feed the foxes, although they may sneak in and take food that I put out at my Badger photo sites when I set them up. Not had a session with the badgers of late, must give it another go one night, still got all the gear up there in place before winter sets in.
No doubt your Keeper is letting his master know he is doing is job well. It used to be the practice of Keepers to have a Gibbet, where they would hang their kills to let their employer know they were doing their job. You would see foxes, stoats, weasels, squirrels hung up. A practice now very much frowned upon.

Nice shot Trev! She's definitely got her eye on you though!
was lucky enough the other month to see my first ever fox out in the wild. I was in the car driving as it ran straight in front of me and stopped to glare. I was mesmerized.
