    European Wolf

    European Wolf
I've been dragged around the zoo! I can't find any enthusiasm for photographing animals pacing up and down behind wires, there's no challenge. However I had to show some interest to the small ones, so this is my one and only shot from our day out.

You still managed a nice photo though Trev. I have visited many zoos/wildlife parks ovefr the years and I do enjoy them, but the only real challenge is usually trying to shoot though one or more layers of fencing - assuming the creature is visible and "playing ball". However I much prefer genuine wildlife - and it's often free too!

Nice shot…you’ve made it look natural although in captivity.

Nice shot, agree with Ian C you have made it look natural
Ive been to wildlife parks, and agree the challenge is to shoot through the fencing layers; one of the many skills I have yet to master!

Thanks Rose. Basically widest aperture possible and keep as close the wire bars as possible - this shot was taken through chain-link fencing
