It's just lovely to see our native red.

Locally we are inundated with the grey tree rats, but we have a small population of reds on Brownsea Island and the Isle of Wight. Thankfully, I shall be spending a few days with them in June.

We are right on the front line with tree rats coming over the Tay and spreading North East, there is a half hearted attempt at stopping them, but I can't see it working.

Well done to the lady. There are several locations now in the country where they are trying to re-establish the red. For my part I’ve just passed the 80 mark for despatching greys this year.

It wasnae me, it was the sherpa who carries my film gear lol. She has a good eye for a shot but struggles with the weight of that big 500mm lens, so she is getting the 100-400 which is about half the weight.

A very nice shot. I’ve just acquired a RF100-400 myself and today was its first outing, It works very well and so much lighter than my EF version.
