    Sow Badger and Cub

    Sow Badger & Cub, I believe the cub is a male can't be sure. Taken at the main sett.

          Burnie, If you can find a Sett in a remote location there is a chance they will come out during daylight hours, especially on sunny days..
          These were photographed at my own sett, where they will come out to the call, knowing there is treats for them.

            Finding old woodland is a problem, most of the sizeable bits are forestry commission and less than 50 years old. There is a castle nearby and I have sadly seen a couple of road kills, so I know the area, just not found exactly where they are yet.

              Burnie, the vast majority of sett's that I know are not in woodland, although have to admit mine is. Open field, hedgerow, moorland, under old building's, quarries, scrub can all provide suitable sites. Even old Churchyards!!
