taken at southlakes zoo off the a590 in cumbria ,the zoo is free entry up till feb 2012 ,lots there tiger,s lions manderins and otters ,you can get up very close

I like this image although it needs a little sharpening to bring out those whiskers and the water ripples.
I hope you don't mind but ... now I like it even more

thank,s hereford how much sharpening did you apply ,i try not to have the edge glow but if its expectable i will push it more next time

Just enough to bring the otter "alive" and to enhance those wonderful ripples.
Too much and it will look artificial, not enough and you lose the detail. Just experiment until you are happy with your photograph.
