Not strictly a nose I know but I found this little fellow on feeders in my dad's garden. Bit of a freak of nature but he is obviously surviving and doing ok. As I watched I could see he was actually using the deformity to fish our sunflower seeds from the feeder by twisting his head right round, almost upside down. Nature can be cruel but is fantastic as well. These were shot through the lounge window so they are as good as I can get. I've posted more for the interest rather that the quality of the pictures.

its obviously learned to cope with that extended upper beak - maybe it has a few advantages we don't know about?My camera is helping to look at the world more closely, then record what I see to share with others.
