Another from my trip to RSPB Troup Head.
There was a lot of this nest building behaviour going on in preparation for the forthcoming breeding season.

Very nice,hoping to go to Bass rock soon for some close ups of this magnificent bird,I'm still practicing with the 100-400L.

Flickr states that the distance to subject was 18m but it was nowhere as far as that.
I would say roughly 20ft
