    Spoonbills

Spoonbills feature regularly on the lagoon at Brownsea but usually at least 150 metres away on the far side of the lagoon, too far to get anywhere near decent shots. On Saturday there were 4 of them and as the day progressed they came closer and closer until they were around 50 metres from the hide. Still needing quite a crop but with much more acceptable results

    Well done Stan.

I have only ever seen a pair there. I rather like the head butting on #4.

Excellent Stan- I've never seen any! Like Colin, I think #4 is the best of the crop, but you've done well with all of them!

Must get to Brownsea one of these days!

          Nice shots Stan
Obviously they are never seen up here unfortunately.

I know how you feel regarding the 500 f4 - my 6 numbers would have to come up before I could get one.
In the meantime I can only dream
