What am I?

Saw this very friendly bird at our local pond - does anyone know what it is as I can't seem to identify it.

Seriously?????? LOL

What kind of duck then? I do think it may be a moscovy duck which has been captive bred rather than a wild duck as it is extremely friendly :)

that would be my choice - there is one very similar on the pond down at Poole

That's the nearest I could get from my reference books Stan, but Moscovy duck is not a result I would be comfortable with. Unless anyone comes up with something definitive, I wouldn't be surprised if two unrelated ducks have been "Naughty".

this is the one I was thinking of from Poole Park last year. At the time i just called it "duck" but I think it is definitely a moscovy and comparing with tartlaghans shot I reckon one of the naughty ones was a moscovy

I'm thinking Muskovy and Eqyptian Goose ................... and the Egyptian Goose must have been wearing two pairs of beer goggles!
