Took these whilst visiting Wales,Unfortunately the weather was at its worst and i really should have left my gear in the bag,But sometime you only have the one chance so you have to take whats thrown at you and hope for the best.

You did well Paul considering the conditions, does your 300 work well with a 2x converter.

      Many thanks Chris.
As for the x2 extender,It works very well,Don't usually like to use them but this compo really gives you some big reach with very little loss in IQ.
ps-Its the EF x2 MKII version that was used.

Chris I did a review of the 2x Converter (MKIII) here if you interested

Considering the conditions, these are very good Paul.

Far from ideal conditions, but thats Wales for you

Are they from Gigrin or the trees in the first two look very much like Nant yr Arian. Both times we have been to Nant, the sun was shining until 5 minutes berfore feeding and then the heavens opened but we were very lucky at Gigrin last year with blue skys all afternoon - hoping for similar when we visit with Stephen (hereford_eos) at the end of the month

Poor weather can certainly spoil the day but you have done well with these.
