    Test shots from the river

More test shots. Mix of shots from the last few days sorry it's nothing special.

    #1 - 1/1000, f/3.2, iso 160, 300mm thank goodness the ducks can read!

#2 - 1/320, f/5.6, iso 160, 300mm turn stuff over bird (good with names me lol)

    #3 - 1/500, f/5.6, iso 100, 300mm pointy beaked mud poking bird

    #4 - 1/1000, f/4, iso 100, 300mm yeah. . . bif and almost in focus as well

#5 - 1/640, f/5, iso 100, 280mm (200mm with 1.4 extender) finally - the most stunning of the lot - Cory trying out the 300 2.8 with extender on her 7D - really going to have to keep an eye on it now

Thanks for looking - who knew a lens could have such a steep learning curve ehh.

Good to see you out using your new lens. Really like image 4 catching the bird in flight.

I was going to mention the correct bird names, and even that the black headed gull in shot 4 is in its winter plumage, but on balance, your descriptions and names are more accurate ................... and far funnier.

Agree 100%, those descriptors made me smile.
Nice to have a new lens and to go out practicing with it.
        I like all the images.
Does Cory like her new Christmas present ?
