    Water Drop Photography

Even when the sun is shining and I am out and about, I still see water drops.

Here I have taught a Wigeon to drool. All was going rather well until I tried to get him inside a bubble, but he was having none of it.

One in the pan and two in front.

I was quite fascinated with this little fella. Every time he dipped his beak, water ran off it and dripped back into the lake. I got loads of shots of drips in various states. Other TOGs in the hide thought I was quite mad taking numerous shots of a Wigeon, but I couldn't be assed (CBA) to explain why to them.

Very nice, with a nice catchlight also.

Gorgeous detail, Colin - the 500mm, I assume? I've added it to my wish list!
Can you see that he's licking the spoon...?!
Glad to see that you finally got out again - Mrs C must be breathing a sigh of relief!

                        Mixed feelings it would appear:

Out from under her feet - a good thing.

Out enjoying myself - a bad thing!

Very nice Colin, I hate to think what the collision shot would be like.
