    Red Kite

Red Kite by Andy_Leslie, on Flickr

It was 1C today at Llandeusant and my fingers were freezing in the biting wind. The kites were happy enough, though.

              Re: Red Kite

Absolutely spot on with typically gorgeous Red Kite colouration showing well in that light. Worth a few cold fingers.

A useful tip: I wear silk gloves under my normal gloves. The difference in heat retention is very good.

                Re: Red Kite

Thanks for the tip, Colin. I had carefully left my gloves in my Missus' car, with the result that my fingers are still tingling 7 hours later.

                Worth it, though :)

Good one Andy , I must come over sometime.

I saw a sign saying red kite feeding station (turn right) on the A40 between Llandeillo and Llandovery when I was down that way on Monday.
Is that the same red kite feeding station ?

Yes. You take that turning, through Llangadog and go straight on out of the town instead of following the road to the left. Then follow the signs. About 7 miles.
