    Leeds Castle

Leeds Castle (Kent) is surrounded by wind variety of birds. These birds are free to fly but the constant flow of people in the castle groups means that they are used to and friend with humans. The castle has a large lake and several streams that attract many times of wild birds.

    Here are a few that I took when visiting with Ian. All 1DX + 200/f2.8 + 2x

Certainly the 2x on the 200/f2.8 works well. I think I will be using the 200/2.8 with the 1.4x and 2x regularly as they weigh so little. Add a 24-105 as that makes a lightweight sett that covers it all. Am interesting alternative is so take the 180 macro with the extenders

They're quite good, I like those.

I'd rather see a bit more of the Peacock in #4 - maybe bringing his eyes up to the top third?

            All the best, Mike.
