not sure what type of Gull this is but it appeared next to me when taking photos of the local River.
Thought i'd post because I quite liked the lighting.

Canon 7D & 70-300mm IS USM Lens.

1/750 sec @ f5.6 ISO 100.

Gull.

Looks like she's laid a huge grey egg

It's a black-headed gull in transitional (winter > summer) plumage...
