              Ooops my bad forgot to add lens.

              Lens was Tamron SP AF 70-300 F/4-5.6 Di VC USD at 300mm (so equiv 480ish on crop sensor)

              Thanks for comments, whoopers swans in Iceland are a bit like mute swans in the UK. Fairly common and quite approachable.

                As a side note wasn't till a bit later after taking the picture I remembered I'd switched off the stabilisation when using camera on a tripod.
