    Gigrin Red Kites

In between our two days at Slimbrige over Easter, we took a trip to Gigrin for the red kites and as usual they did not disappoint although our best shots were during the brief spells when the clouds moved away to expose the blue skies. All shot with 7D , 300 f4 and 1.4x, ISO 400

Oh wow, Stan, these are excellent. The 3rd in the series is the best for me but they are all stunning.
Have you considered lowering the saturation on the background of the 4th? I think it would make the subject more prominent.

Stan, I prefer the original to this post but what I meant was to try washing out the background even more - not quite B&W but very pale. If it doesn't work, never mind - the original is fantastic.

                            Thanks Guys

They are a joint effort, 1 and 3 are Dee's and 2 and 4 mine. No 3 for us was the shot of the day as soon as seen in the lcd and apart from a small crop it needed very little processing
