    Few from Saturday, 1Dmk4 & 300mm 2.8 mkii

    #1 - 1/1250, f/4.5, iso 100, +1/3 exposure bias


    #2 - 1/1250, f/4.5, iso 100, +1/3 exposure bias - bit of a crop


    #3 - 1/1250, f/2.8, iso 100, +1 exposure bias


    #4 - 1/1250, f/3.2, iso 100, +1 exposure bias


    #5 - 1/1250, f/2.8, iso 100, +2/3 exposure bias

    Good set David, Number 2 really shows how sharp that Lens is.

            We have seen the red kites every time we have been to the wolf trust but they have never come down close enough to shoot so well done and some good poses

                        Honestly - no not really, I open the raw files in Photoshop and have added a very small amount of 'fill light' (not much as I had the exposure bias up a couple) to bring out the colour underneath and maybe a touch of contrast if it needs it.

                        I try not to do much 'manipulation', sometimes it needs a little help, other times it's a straight 'save as jpeg'

                          I only asked because iv been trying myself and cannot get anything as clear as this but admittedly iv only got 70-200 so need to crop to get close enough
