      Really nice shot especially for the distance you were away - I presume they are on a hill / slope? even so it might be worth trying to level it out a little to see if it works.

        Yes your correct about the horizon, i totally overlooked it when composing and cropping the image, the Red Kite is actually tilting it's self as it approaches the food pickup, because its close to the Buzzard.
        Have posted before and after images.

          Thanks for posting the before and after images, they are very helpful in seeing how you arrived at the final shot.

          Also interesting to see the red kite getting so close the the more powerful Buzzard, even though there was plenty of food elsewhere. I suspect he did it just because he could.
