Kestrel with a Wall Lizard II

Another frame of the kestrel and lizard, this one looks like the kestrel is whispering something in his ear

My favorite bird of prey, and you showcase them well Stan. I'd be happy to snap just one let alone with having prey :) Great stuff.

Good shot, Stan. I'd like to see a shot from a different PoV, lower would be good.

whilst a lower pov is very valid for animals, birds etc at ground level, not so when your subject is 100 feet up in the air - unless you are in a balloon or similar

Excellent capture Stan . We don't have a lot of Kestrels around here but plenty of Buzzards.

                        Thanks Dave

In 5 or 6 years this is the only kestrel that i have seen close and low enough to get any shots. Often see buzzards but they are usually soaring too high or on the few occasions seen either on the ground in a field or fence post by the side od the road we are always in the car, busy dual carriagway and nowhere to stop
