My first real shot at Birds.

I decided to go to a tropical fish event in Redditch on Sunday, the venue is situated by a small lake, so with camera in hand I decided to take a walk and see what was about, and these were the result of what has been my very first real attempt at taking pictures of birds. Non of them were moving very much, which made things a little easier. Because of the distance away, the heron and Grebe were major crops.

    Comments welcome.

Nice shots Ian. If you want more practice with plenty of different 'subjects' try Upton Warren Nature Reserve near Droitwich.

Your first attempt is far better than mine was!

Especially like the Heron, and the Grebe.

              Keep'em coming! Well done, Mike.
