    A Swift BIF or two

    One of my long term BIF ambitions is the Swift, a bird so fast or distant I've never had a chance up to now. This morning the strong wind kept the insects down which meant the Swifts came down to catch them in flight. Still a good distance away but near enough to get a couple of usable shots, pretty large crops though:





    I hope to get them nearer next time but the main problem is keeping these guided missiles in the frame as you pan so perhaps these are the best I'll ever get.

      Excellent shooting and panning I got one last week but it is the size of one of your Swift's wings ..... and a massive crop
