Hi All

Took the image on Monday when I saw the terns passing fish. I have deliberately reduced the saturation in the background to make the tern stand out more.

Thanks Alex - the original background was mainly bright green foliage so I desaturated it - I think it works - regards John

John, thanks for that. It is really interesting to me to see how people solve their 'problem shots'. You've done a great job in sorting that background out.

Happy to help Alex - I used LR4 to process - do so for 98% of my images- I desaturated most of the green to gt the effect I wanted - regards John
