    Took this a week ago, I didn't realise that Skylarks sang on the ground, so I was pleased to get this with the crest up.

    Skylarks always make me think of warm summer days with clear blue skies and a skylark trilling away.

    Sometimes difficult to see them as they can go quite high.

      On capturing the image, it on my screen it seem to be a bit overexposed.

          Obviously why this chap is on the ground!!
          I always thought they were high in the sky and I have heard a lot singing recently but not seen them, will look lower down!
