Bird photography of Steven McGrath from Glasgow

Ive been speaking to this guy on and off now for the last 6 months. He's helped me get a lot of my pics of birds as well as help on here, however, his work is just so good that I need to share it with you.

He's quite shy about sharing his work but It's really rather good.

Unfortunately no BCC link so a short URL only

    Great Tit in flight

He was featured in the BBC news last year for filming the Peregrine Falcons of The Red Road Flats in Glasgow, some might have seen it on the tv.

Anyway I just thought I'd let you see it.

      It's some great work Tom.

Here is the story and pics from the Peregrine find.

Two birds of prey who set up home in Glasgow's Red Road flats raise what is believed to be the city's first ever peregrine falcon chick.

He doesn't even use the best of kit either. A 40D and Sigma 150-500 lens all the time. No disrespect or arrogance meant, but merely shows you don't need all singing and dancing kit to get great pics.
