    Swan with Cygnet

I was camping with my family at Ullswater the past couple of days. These residents were always close. It was lovely to see parent and child. The shots are a little noisy, shot at ISO800. All shot handheld with a 70-200f4L

Garry, that is a really lovely set. The noise looks perfectly acceptable to me. My fave is no 1, as to my eye it has the best mirroring both in terms of parent/child and in the water.
Just a thought, but the reflection works so well that I found myself looking at it with the top cropped a little, such that the bottom of the adult was half way up. This seemed to focus my eye on the details such as the raised foot better, though I don't know why. Probably just me though.

Well composed and exposed shots. Even better as all are synchronised poses

Garry, that's almost what I was thinking, although I envisaged just taking the top off. I see you've also taken from the left which means they are both now moving into the frame, which to my eye is even better still.

Incredible how they are doing the same actions at the same time.

Garry, these are delightful shots, really like the dark backgrounds adding emphasis to the Swans.
