    Jay in flight...

    Trawling back on my hard-disk, looking to delete all the c**p and free up some space, I found this one that doesn't look too bad...

    British Jay in flight over WWT Barnes back in April...

            Very good indeed... these birds are hard to spot, let alone shoot, let alone shoot well, and you have. Nice detail under the wing, and you've still kept a reasonable sky!

            Really nice pose with the wings out-spread like that... makes an interesting example to use to show the different flight feathers etc.

                      If you look closely, there's still quite a bit of noise in the image. The Jay appeared as I was shooting something else, so, inevitably, my settings were not the best, and it took some post-processing to bring out the detail!
