      yes i know but the bird got to close and i couldnt move back from my spot. Normaly they are too far away and i have to crop the pic to see it!!

              Hi All, The colour variation is due to the moult of the feathers and in this adult bird you can see the darker newer feathers, they moult the feathers in a sequence as they take upto 2 months to replace each one!
