        Many thanks Stephen - try googling kingfisher sightings in Herefordshire - you should then find out if there are any around near you. I've just checked and there are sightings at Upton Warren - Regards John

                              John, quite astounding Having never even managed to see a kingfisher in the wild, let alone photograph one, I am sooooo jealous. Whilst I would be ecstatic with any single one of these, if you put a gun to my head my choice would be no 1 with the classic pose and full length of a foot. Enjoy sifting the 1200 (what do you think you'll get it down to?) and basking in the deserved satisfaction of having created some wonderful images.
