    Selection of small birds

    On a recent visit to Eskrigg Nature Reserve in Lockerbie to photograph the red squirrels I had some success with the birdies...

    All taken with Canon 7D and 70-300mm f4-5.6 is usm Lens

    Robin ISO 800 f5.6 @ 1/125 sec.

        Agree with Paul and Doug. The backgrounds are very good. You did very well with a 70-300mm lens. I assume you were in a hide.

          Thanks Paul, Doug and Brian.

          Brian I was sitting outside a hide when I captured the Coal Tit and Nuthatch.
          The Robin was a bonus as I spotted it when walking along a path and managed to get within 6 feet.(must be used to humans)

                        Alan, they are all good (though the coal tit perhaps not quite as sharp as the other two), but the robin is standout for me; love the feather detail on his belly.
