    Collared dove got startled from the bird table and didn't quite clear the conservatory door. . . . . . and yes I need to clean the glass lol

    I've had a wood pigeon do a similar thing on my greenhouse. I bet it takes some time for them to recover.

            We frequently have woodies crash into our windows leaving the 'angel' spread... last night that got trumped by a female pheasant; made one hell of a bang, and broke it's neck in the process...

            Still; a casserole beckons; and no buckshot to worry about
