    Indian Rollers

    Quite a few of these beautiful "Indian Roller" birds live on the estate in Thailand, but they're very nervous and hard to get close up so I'm quite pleased with these - also from the mobile hide

      The colours are fantastic. Your 5D3 has certainly captured all the detail. I may have cloned out the twig protruding from the wing in #2.

                  Thanks for your comments, everyone. The flash really helps to bring out the colour in these beautiful birds.

                  Brian, I agree regarding the protruding twig and actually had the printer clone that out for me before I printed this shot. I'd have done it myself before posting here but it was late and I need more practice with photoshop. I've completely given up with the LR5 cloning tool as it is, in my opinion, dreadful.
