        Thankyou, Tom and JayJay. It's been remarkably quite at the north hide in Radipole, but Saturday was payday, kingfisher,water rail and glossy ibis.

          Excellent shot of a stunning bird and well positioned in the frame. Have you considered flipping it so that it's flying right to left i.e. towards you as you read?

                    I might pop over from Charminster to try to get to see it this weekend if it's still there and the weather is fair. The forecast looks awful!
