That's excellent, David - I was about to post one too from a lake in Brisbane but I shall defer to you on this one! Well done

        Thanks Andy.
This is actually the third of my three prints from last nights competition. The other two were, Victorian Cricketers (18) and Sea of Gold (19).

Judge's comment: technically correct, presentation correct, but it is a Black Swan..... 17

Andy, please post the Brisbane Swan... make me homesick again...

Good detail David, the only thing missing for me is the rest of the reflection

            Thanks Stan,
I was waiting for the comment last night about not having a full reflection but it was not commented on.
This was actually a "grab" shot taken in the Australia Area at Barnes WWT which is my excuse for not having a full reflection.

              Re: Black Swan

In the captive areas at WWT's the birds are usually quite close so particularly with the bigger ones its never easy to get a full reflection

                Re: Black Swan

David, I'm going to go against the tide on this one, and say that to my eye it looks somewhat 'over-processed'. I can't really say why but something particularly about the neck doesn't ring true. I've looked at it on Flickr to see if that helps, but it just seems flat. Perhaps it is my monitor. Clearly I'm in a minority of one, but thought I'd mention it; sorry.

I have to agree with AlexR. The colours on my monitor look unnatural.
