Owl Flying Display Thorp Perrow Aboretum

I think this Owl was called Charlie, possibly because he liked to walk around. Sadly I couldn't get a shot with a clear background but...it wasn't a photography session just one of their normal daily flying displays.
Charlie is an African Eagle Owl I think?

Cracking shot it is a shame about the busy background but like you said it can't be helped when you are their on a normal flying display.

Lovely capture of a beautiful bird Peter

As you've stated, the background's not perfect but you've worked with what you had and it's not too distracting.

The image does look just a little over-sharp on my monitor though, particularly noticeable on the trailing-edge of his right wing where it looks as though there's some haloing.
