                    Your Grebes are a lot darker than ours. Our's are mostly orange in colour with a slight darkening on the head and back. Cracking shots right enough, never been that close.

                        Nice Stan. I find Grebes to be very shy and willing to disappear under water for what seems like ages to avoid being photographed

                          I find Grebes to be very shy and willing to disappear under water for what seems like ages to avoid being photographed
                          most diving birds seem to be the same and when they do resurface it is nowhere near where you expect
