      Very typical Nuthatch pose, captured very well.
      Pin sharp with lovely clean background which helps the Nuthatch stand out.
      Perched on a nice clean piece of wood.

      Surely you don't carry a plank with you for a prop.

          it is the standard nuthatch pose, heres one of mine, exactly the same apart from no legs as he was slightly further round

                  Dee's is a cracker and yours is...eh... not bad too Stan
                  both were taken within seconds of each other but Dee was about a couple of metres further round to the right which made all the difference with the legs....plus she always gets the better shot anyway

                  I've never seen a Nuthatch
                  this is about the only location where they are almost guaranteed sightings each visit

                          Excellent images as these are tricky things to capture. You're more likely to hear one that see one. Call is quite distinctive once you know it.

                          Have them locally but always at height in the trees so not much chance of picture.
