        As with your ibis a head turn would be better ( I know you realise that )

        Also please include details of the camera and shooting settings

              Colin I think my new 5Dmk3 coped with the exposure more than I did

              A lot more birds to come from Florida but after that I do not have a lot of time to go out with my camera and my posts might dry up

              Hope you don't get bored

              Do you have to type in camera details and exposure in or can you import exif ( newbee does not know)

                Very nice image, well composed with excellent feather detail. I generally type in camera details as the exif info goes into a lot of detail.
