    Not seen a Water Rail for ages. Good images of this rather elusive bird.

        Use to see them quire regularly at Leighton Moss, Lancashire. But not been there for a long time.

        If fact not been out to a bird reserve for ages.

            That's a nice bird that I've not seen before Stan - the eye is sharpest by a whisker in No.1 but I prefer the composition of No.2 overall - well done

              This morning weather was not too bad at all. No rain, no wind and temp about 5 C. Actually somewhat warmer than last night about 11 when we had a bit of snow.

              Just looked out window at work and its very windy, raining quite heavy and looks darker than when I arrived at 8.

              So the poor weather forecast is arriving it seems.
