    Turnstone with crab

    [IMG]www.flickr.com/photos/101212171@N02/11799838984/]

Like many others I'm going through old files as the weather is too bad to get out and about.

This is from a couple of years ago on Fort Myers Beach, Florida. It's actually called a 'Ruddy Turnstone' but I thought that sort of language in the title box may not be appropriate! It spent ages on this crab. In fact when it started the tide was out and only stopped when the water level became too high. It (not sure whether it was male or female) was oblivious to my presence throughout.

    1D3 with 500mm f4L IS lens.

    Thanks for looking.

Not unlike the local ones but perhaps a bit paler

Good exposure and detail, always good when they are doing something

Great doing shot and lovely triangular composition with the Turnstone, its reflection and the crab.
