    Swans

Early start to capture a few swans.
Just to give my 5D mkIII something to do as it's being so quite on the sporting front.
    Both taken with 300mm lens.

    Re: Swans

Two really nice portraits Paul with some great detail. only minor nit is the tip of the beak in the first is getting a bit soft - probably shooting at f8 rather than f5.6 would have solved that

      Re: Swans

Two lovely portraits, even if the first one's tip of the beak is soft I think it makes you look into the eyes well done

Paul, both gorgeous. First is my fave, and I love the narrow dof as it shows the length of the beak and focuses the viewer on the eyes.

Both lovely Swan shots and as long as the eyes are sharp, you can get away with anything else.

                      Many thanks to all.
Birds are not my normal type of photography so I'm pleased with the results.
