    Wanna make some eggs?

Pre courtship of a pair of wild Kestrels, taken at the wild bird hide at the Hawk Conservancy Trust. This is taken with a 2x extender, that I use very rarely, but with a bit of care and the right light, it can be made to work.

    1D MKIV 500mm f4 + 2x
    1/1,250 sec f9 ISO 1600

    lovely

I might have been tempted to move the birds a little to the right if there was room to crop it that way

Both looking a little coy... First time lovers maybe?

      1000mm @ 1/250... Tripod or Monopod?

Just a beanbag, resting on the opening of the hide.

Ooops, just had a thought that I would never use such a slow shutter speed for birds, as they are such twitchy things. On checking the exif, it was a typo and should have read: 1/1,250 sec. Original post edited and I am sorry for any confusion.
