Great Tit

Shot a subject (Birds)that i hardly ever bother with,not my cup of tea as we say in the UK.
Hoping to capture something special at a local and well respected nature reserve but alas never saw a dam thing
Did manage to shoot a Great tit but that's as good as it got for me.

Thats not bad Paul , you have a good background but the bird and perch look a bit oversharpened, although that may be from the link form flickr

The composition could be a bit tighter, to get rid of some of the empty space above the bird and crop some from the right so that the bird is looking into the frame rather than out of it

Agree with Stan about over sharpening. There is a lot of space above the bird, but this could be used for a magazine front cover title! Excellent background.
